Welcome to the proceedings of the 14th Biennial Conference of the International Association of Special Education (IASE). The theme of the 2015 IASE biennial conference is “New Dimensions Toward Education, Advocacy and Collaboration for Individuals with Special Needs.” As in the past, this IASE biennial conference is designed with the intent of bringing special educators, families, and other interested professionals and individuals together to share ideas and experiences, celebrate acomplishments, and of course create and renew friendships. We hope that you will take this opportunity to learn about new developments from around the world designed to promote education, advocacy, and collaboration with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

A big thanks to everyone who participated in the conference, all the presenters who submitted their abstracts for inclusion in the conference proceedings, and all those who contributed to making the conference a success.
